perhaps you're wondering who it is that is in the parks dept? perhaps you don't care. it may be a fact that you are not even reading this but are watching everybody loves raymond or are strolling down a street in coventry on the way to a meeting with a man who is a secret killer. you might even be giving birth to twins. elvis was a twin you know. did you know that? his twin died though. but he was still a twin. twin valve. valve consumption. consumption.
slug
o the horror. the horror. my dream is of a slug sliding on the edge of a straight razor and laughing as he goes. yeah he picked up the razor and got some more razors and slid into the water slide at centre parks - very slowly - he's a slug - but the funny thing was he had a whole packet of clean sharp razors and about half way down managed to attach some of them to the inside of the water slide - can you imagine? anyway, the next day he waited with glee as the people started shooting out of the pipe at the bottom sliced up to bits and bleeding horribly. after a short while the splash pool began turning red with blood and the water level was rising. strange though that they didn't close the slide - the kids just kept getting up to the top again - streaks of blood pissing everywhere and carried on going down. the slug was expecting screams but all he heard was laughing and joyful exuberance. they just kept going back up for more! soon there were strips of skin literally hanging off and flopping on the floor. nobody seemed bothered at all. this made the slug think. hmm...what if i did the same tomorrow but used manic street preacher lyrics? so...during the night the slug managed to glue an assortment of words taken directly from 'the holy bible' and 'this is my truth tell me yours'. aha! here we go. the first kids went down - ho ho thought the slug. and blammo! out they shot into the splash pool. screaming, reeling, shouting, writhing, twisting in agony!! AAAGGHHH!! get these fucking words off me!!! HELP HELP! i can't breathe!! this made the slug chuckle. he was a right sadistic bastard.

stuff that's happening and things that are going on
hi hi hi there
exciting times at the parks dept hq - yes that's right after a year in the making the debut album is finally polished to perfection and sorted and mastered and printed and in our hands! woop! it is called no/noise and is to be released at the start of february 2010 - huzzah! so - next year is the one and we are currently sorting all manner of shizzle out including our first proper UK tour all over the shop. we are running at full power now with our cracking live sets honed to perfection and shiny and poised to force it down your throat - even miquita oliver is a fan and she's a very picky girl you know. nice thighs. we got some gigs coming up soon too so check us out you buggers. here they are at the moment -
sunday 8th november - 100 club, oxford street, london with coco electrik. £7
friday 4th december - stalker's xmas party @ new roadmender, northampton. £5
with support from sleepyhead and air canada.
we got a few more this year in the pipeline most notably in brixton and hoxton - both in london of course kids! we will post details of those when we confirm n all that.
