We have had overwhelming demand for this boxed set and it will sell very very quickly!

Orders will be taken via the website after midnight on Sunday 2nd August 2009. We will collate orders and then start posting MONDAY 10th AUGUST 2009 PLEASE NOTE!

The price will be £37.50 INCL P & P WORLDWIDE. The price is the SAME regardless of where you live and is fair to all those who want one.

It will be on general release in October and a good amount of the sets will be available WORLDWIDE from online and regular stores. We will also have a few at the show in October at Kings Place, London.

ALL boxes have SIX DISCS.

A huge Kooky well done to Northants STEELBACKS (the county cricket side) who managed to make the finals day at Edgbaston on Saturday August 15th 2009.

A nail-biting quarter-final against the Hampshire Hawks was finally settled in the last over by some superb bowling by Andrew Hall.

KOOKY are proud to sponsor NIALL O'BRIEN who had a fabulous 20/200 World Cup with Ireland behind the stumps, including Man of the Match against Bangladesh.It was great to see him back from an injury he picked up in that game - scoring 28, taking a great stumping and a catch which helped turn the match.

Thanks to those who have ' registerered an interest ' - by this I meant had been in touch not physically added their name to any register !

Thanks very much to all those who have registered their interest in buying the Durutti Column boxed set.

We have been literally inundated with mail so please accept my 'generic' post which I hope may answer a few questions:

Firstly - don't worry if you did not get to the shows - we have kept back enough to sell mailorder.

They will be £35.00 each, plus £2.50 P&P regardless of where you live. This package is worth the money! We have two great bonus discs and some cool interviews as well as the original art for each album. It has nine card inserts and the box is a really good size - 190mm square and 60mm deep. All the discs are in an envelope and the envelopes have print and are hand numbered. There are 1175 total.

ALL 1175 HAVE ALL SIX DISCS.

Secondly - IF they 'appear' on Ebay from others please DONT buy them!! We will do so soon enough!!! Incidentally, we will charge the same worldwide regardless of P&P!

Thirdly - Sub-Group people will get priority and the lower numbers hopefully will be saved for you too.

We will sell via mail order prior to release and soon enough hopefully to keep all happy !

I hope this answers a few queries. Do feel free to mail me if you need to know anything else.

BUT please don't ask me to save you one!! I just can't do that.... and as the boxes are shrinkwrapped we cannot supply specific numbers...

We are very pleased to annouce that our next project is a six CD limited edition box set celebrating the first four albums by The Durutti Column.

Entitled Four Factory Records, the set comprises:

Four fully remastered albums

1. The Return Of The Durutti Column
2. LC
3. Another Setting
4. Without Mercy

Plus two very limited bonus CDs

5. Demos/Studio - demos, versions and outtakes from the period
6. Live - recordings from London, Glasgow, and Brighton 82/84

All this plus a package of interviews with the key protagonists from the period including Vini Reilly, Bruce Mitchell, John Metcalfe, Keir Stewart and Tim Kellett.

Advance copies will be available for sale at the Manchester International Festival shows 15-17 July 2009. It will then be available in all good record shops (actual and virtual) and direct from Kooky from September 2009. The project will be a total edition of 1,000 copies of which a limited number will include the two bonus discs.

We've tried to make this lavish package available at a sensible price. If you can't make the MIF shows, please check back at the end of July when we will start taking pre-orders for mail order through Kooky.
