Hi ­ I hope you don¹t mind me contacting you via our site but on Sunday 7th
October I am taking part in a 55 mile charity cycle ride across the Peak
District, including a seven mile hill climb, in aid of Cystic Fibrosis
(CF).It would be appreciated if you could sponsor me in any way possible!
It is the UK's most common life-threatening inherited disease and it
affects over 8,000 people in the United Kingdom . Over two million people in
the UK carry the faulty gene that causes Cystic Fibrosis - around 1 in 25 of
the population.
Cystic Fibrosis affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and
digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it
hard to breathe and digest food.
Each week, five babies are born with Cystic Fibrosis and currently three
people lose their fight against Cystic Fibrosis every week.
Average life expectancy is around 31 years, although improvements in
treatments mean a baby born today could expect to live for longer.



This disease personally affects people I ,and probably you know ,on a daily

That is er the question....

Luke has decided to change the name of his band to something else..

When he has read all of the postcard entries and the judges have met we will announce the winning entry. Thanks to all those who entered the competition the response was truly amazing!

Please remember the judges decision is final!

The extended play CD is nearly mixed - a few tweaks and some artwork - and then we will be looking to release early next year.

A track listing and some different tunes will be here shortly

Finally.....

They will be in production in the next few days having selected the correct swatches of cloth.

Designs will be here to view once they are ready and you can have any colour as long as it is the one we have chosen. Vini Reilly has promised to wear his too! The Retro Spankees will definitely wear theirs as its another day longer before thinking about doing the washing. (is that right?)

Hello everyone - we will be releasing the FEW COPIES LEFT on general sale - ie in a good record shop near you - the CD which was only previously avaiable free at our tenth birthday bash a few months ago... !!!

It includes TWO PREVIOUSLY UNAVAILABLE DURUTTI COLUMN tracks and a track from MECURY PRIZE NOMINEES MAPS ... In their good company are pieces by GNAC, PRAM, SEAFOOD and THE RETRO SPANKEES amongst others...

Incidentally the DURUTTI COLUMN SET at the show was videoed, and we managed to have a surreal-like premiere on the big screen in Northampton... It is rather odd seeing a 30' high Vini Reilly - let alone side-stage shots of yours truly!!!!

Remember- only 1000 are and WILL be pressed of this release and it is a mid-priced (cheap) album to buy.
